We are currently recruiting for the following roles, our client is York based and will give consideration to hybrid working with occasional office visits per month. Salary negotiable.
SSAS Client Manager
- Execution of documents and registrations for Scheme establishment/takeover up to consultant sign off.
- Ongoing reconciliation of Scheme transactions & Valuations
- Preparing fund splits via SSAS pro
- Opening scheme bank accounts
- Transfers preparation for Consultant Sign off
- Contributions (limit sign off by consultant)
- Tax reclaims & Relief at Source
- Loan work up to consultant sign off.
- General Scheme Investments either advised or execution only
- VAT Registration, Returns and De Registration
- Benefit Calculations up to sign off by consultant.
- Property Purchase/Sale/Lease - overview signed off by consultant
- Reconciliation and management of Property rent invoicing
- Authorising Pension Payments
- Scheme wind up preparation in readiness for sign off by consultant.
SSAS Consultant
- Provide a consultancy service to a portfolio of existing schemes.
- Liaising with Member Trustees re: Contributions, Transfers, objectives etc. Those objectives could include bank borrowing, Loanbacks, General Scheme Investments, VAT, Benefit Calculation, Property Purchases, Property Sale and Lease.
- Liaising with professional connections.
- Dealing and taking responsibility for a whole myriad of questions from Scheme Members and professional connections in relation to SSAS.
- To keep up to date with new products, technical or legislative changes within the market place.
- To develop professional connections in the professional introducer sector with a view to promoting and growing the Company
- To deal with initial Scheme establishment and with potential new clients to the point where Scheme documentation is passed to the Administration Team for registration.
- Continuous support and handling of complex aspects of all existing and potential new Schemes.
- To keep at the forefront of technical and Legislative changes for pensions, particularly relating to SIPP and SSAS.
- To provide Trustee duties to SSAS.
- Providing the client with an annual trustee meeting under the agreed Company agenda.
Key Skills/Requirements:
- Good SSAS experience
- Good communication skills
- Ability to self organise and work under own initiative
