UX Designer

Overview

We are have a new and enticing opportunity to work with a fast growth client who is expanding their marketing team in York. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a forward-thinking company that values ambition, integrity, and quality. Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive UX reviews to identify and resolve design issues.
  • Support existing design team with other non UX related online and print design work
  • Create wireframes, prototypes, and visual designs that enhance user experience.
  • Optimize website usability and performance for a high-traffic environment.
  • Use tools such as Hotjar to analyze user behavior and identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with developers, marketers, and other stakeholders to implement design solutions.
  • Maintain a consistent brand aesthetic while improving user interface and functionality.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest UX/UI trends, particularly in the travel industry

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Proven experience as a UX Specialist, UX Designer, or in a similar role.
  • Strong web and graphic design skills.

  • Demonstrable experience working on high-traffic websites, ideally in the travel industry.
  • Expertise in UX research and analytics tools, including Hotjar and Google Analytics.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to address complex design challenges.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • A portfolio showcasing successful UX/UI projects and web designs.
