Job Purpose:
We are looking for a skilled and experienced Mobile Gas Engineer to join our team in the Hull and East Yorkshire area. In this role, you will carry out a variety of maintenance and repair tasks, including gas systems, fabric, and basic electrical duties, for our high-profile retail and banking clients. You will be responsible for Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM), reactive tasks, and ensuring compliance with all statutory and mandatory regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
* Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and Reactive Maintenance tasks for gas systems, heating, ventilation, and other building systems.
* Complete all required certification, ensuring tasks are completed within legislative timescales.
* Carry out emergency and reactive work as needed, using handheld technology for reporting and task management.
* Participate in the out-of-hours call-out rota to provide full coverage for clients.
* Monitor and manage visiting subcontractors, ensuring high standards of work and Health & Safety compliance.
* Issue permits and oversee small works and escort duties.
* Proactively identify additional opportunities for work or improvements on-site.
* Ensure accurate and timely completion of all work-related paperwork and reports.

What We Are Looking For:
* City & Guilds Level II/III (or equivalent) in Gas Engineering or a relevant discipline.
* Extensive experience in gas system maintenance, testing, and fault-finding, including boilers, ventilation, pumps, and generators.
* Knowledge of building systems such as switchgear, cables, batteries, small power, and lighting (where applicable).
* Experience with Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and Reactive Maintenance tasks.
* Strong understanding of Health & Safety standards and safe working practices.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to work.
* Ability to manage and prioritise tasks efficiently.
* Strong communication and customer service skills.
* Full UK driving licence (required).
