The companyNigel Wright are pleased to be working with a FMCG business who are looking to recruit a Health & Safety Advisor. This is a newly created role, working alongside the HSE Manager to drive and embed a Safety first culture across the business. The roleThis HSE advisor will support in implementing and maintaining HSE plans across the site, ensuring compliance with legislative and company requirements. Promoting safe working practices, encouraging others to have a continuous improvement mindset and creating an environment where everyone feels able to make suggestions. By working closely with the HSE Manager, you will create an environment where people report non-conformance's, knowing that the corrective actions will be carried out to resolve these issues. We are looking for someone who takes pride in feeding back actions that have been carried out and solutions that have been found. Compliance and reporting is a key element of this role, supporting the development and implementation of ISO environmental management. The personWe are ideally looking for someone who is excited by the opportunity to create a strong health & Safety legacy. Nebosh certified - or studying towards, with an interest in Environment. Experience in manufacturing, distribution or FMCG is desired.
