Youll be responsible for ensuring compliance with health and safety laws, implementing policies, and promoting a safe working environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Advise senior management and line managers on H&S policies, risk assessments, and safe procedures.
Develop and enforce health and safety plans and policies.
Conduct workplace inspections, risk assessments, and investigate incidents.
Oversee statutory safety inspections for equipment and machinery.
Deliver training and toolbox talks to staff, visitors, and contractors.
Lead monthly H&S meetings and track key performance indicators.
Promote hazard reporting and maintain emergency procedures.
Qualifications:
Essential:
NEBOSH General Certificate.
Experience in Health & Safety management and training.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Desired:
NEBOSH Diploma and IOSH membership.
Up-to-date knowledge of Health & Safety legislation.
Details:
Hours: 25 hours per week, flexible.
Salary: Up to £16 per hour.
Benefits: 28 days holiday (pro-rata), including bank holidays.
