Occupational Health Technicians – Peripatetic RolesLocation: UK Wide Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week (typically 8:30 am – 5:00 pm)Salary: £24,000 - £26,000 + Benefits

Our client due to expansion are interested in Occupational Health Technicians to join their peripatetic team. Where ever you live within the UK, our client is interested to hear from you! 

You will be responsible for driving our Mobile Screening Van Unit to sites across the UK to deliver essential health surveillance services.

Candidates must have the facility to park the unit at or near their home address overnight and be comfortable with frequent travel and regular overnight stays.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Carry out screenings including audiometry, lung function testing, drug and alcohol testing, and baseline measurements (height, weight, blood pressure, urinalysis).
  • Ensure that all collected biometric data is accurately recorded in occupational health records and forwarded to the relevant clinical staff.
  • Maintain all equipment to ensure it is serviceable, clean, and fit for purpose.
  • Assist with additional health promotion activities and other duties as requested.
  • Provide essential support to the occupational health team by undertaking non-clinical tasks (e.g., filing, tidying) to help the department run smoothly.
  • Collaborate with nursing and physician staff, ensuring all necessary information is accurately gathered and recorded for clinical decision-making (note: interpretation of results is not within this role, except for drug and alcohol testing, which you will be trained to perform).
