Ward Manager - Eating Disorder Service

Temporary Contract - 3 months minimum

Full time hours

Rate is negotiable

Located in York

We are recruiting a Ward Manager for our Private Clients Eating Disorder Service in York for an ongoing contract.

The service provide specialist treatment for adults with eating disorders in a dedicated hospital wing, including anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, and OSFED.

They offer both inpatient and day care programmes that deliver structured support tailored to each person's recovery needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all aspects of clinical practice on the ward, ensuring adherence to evidence-based practice and local and national guidance and relevant professional standards.
  • Provide support to all colleagues on the ward, ensure a safe environment for the service users.
  • Promote high standards of care and will be integral to ensuring there is coordination.
  • Be a central point of contact for colleagues both internal and external.
  • Assist the Deputy Hospital Director with the highly specialist assessment, admission and discharge of patients.

Requirements:

  • Registered with the NMC (RMN) with no restrictions to practice.
  • Previous line management experience within a healthcare setting
  • Experience working with Eating Disorder Patients
