Your new companyI am delighted to be supporting a growing organisation on the recruitment of a permanent HR Manager to join the organisation to oversee all HR activities and have line management responsibilities. Your new roleWithin your new role you will oversee the whole HR function for the organisation based in North Yorkshire, managing the Resourcing Advisor for the group. You will work closely with the leadership team to support them on commercial activities for the organisation. This role is on site with a degree of flexibility. Responsibilities will include:

  • Ensuring policies and procedures are kept up to date with employment regulations
  • Managing and training the HR Team
  • Overseeing Employee Relation case management; disciplinary processes and formal grievances
  • Setting and reviewing pay structures and managing employee benefits and perk packages
  • Managing the payroll
  • Driving the wellbeing programme across the organisation
  • Overseeing the recruitment, selection and onboarding process of all new employees
  • Managing the company's appraisal system
  • Monitoring various aspects of an employee's performance, such as attendance and sick leave
  • Accessing the need for training and then designing and implementing training programs accordingly

What you'll need to succeedTo be successful in securing an interview for this position, you will require experience in the following:

  • Managing a small HR team previously
  • Up-to-date knowledge of Employment Law
  • CIPD L.5 or upwards
  • Experience working in an operational and strategic position
  • Knowledge of recruitment activities and overseeing the full employee lifecycle
