We are looking for an experienced HR Advisor to join our clients team in York. As an HR Advisor, you will play a crucial role in managing employee relations, sickness absence cases, disciplinary and grievance investigations, performance management, TUPE, and other HR matters. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced HR Advisor to a growing and supportive team.

Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive HR advice and guidance to managers in line with organizational policies and HR standards
  • Manage employee relations cases and provide support to managers on procedures, terms and conditions of service, and best practices
  • Line management of HR Assistants and HR Administrators
  • Contribute to the development of a people-focused and engaging culture
  • Analyze HR metrics and statistics, highlighting trends
  • Support organizational change and communications with Trade Unions
  • Develop own skills and abilities as an HR professional in managing employee relations cases and undertake necessary training where identified
Qualifications
  • Qualified to level 5 CIPD or above
  • Good level of understanding of UK employment legislation including TUPE
  • Ability to influence managers whilst maintaining a good working relationship
  • Ability to work as part of a team in a pressurised environment with conflicting priorities
  • Ability to deal with sensitive issues showing considerable tact and diplomacy
