Job Title: Interim HR Business Partner (Employee Relations Focused)

Location: York (with flexibility for home working 2 days per week)

Contract: Fixed Term Contract (6 months)

Salary:£45,000 - £50,000 per annum

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Interim HR Business Partner to join our clients team on a 6-month fixed-term contract. This role will be primarily focused on Employee Relations, providing expert advice and guidance to managers across the business on a range of HR issues.

Responsibilities

  • Provide expert advice and guidance to managers on all aspects of Employee Relations, including: Disciplinary and grievance procedures; Performance management; Absence management; Restructurings and redundancies; TUPE; Employment law and best practice
  • Coach and support managers to effectively manage employee performance and address employee concerns.
  • Ensure all HR processes are conducted fairly, consistently, and in accordance with company policy and legislation.
  • Proactively identify and mitigate HR risks.
  • Build strong relationships with managers and employees across the business.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
  • Provide support to the wider HR team as required.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as an HR Business Partner or similar role within a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong knowledge of UK Employment Law.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to build strong relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • CIPD qualified (or equivalent).

Salary

£45,000pa - £50,000pa
