Infrastructure Support Engineer

Infrastructure Support Engineer – Yorkshire – Up to £40,000

VIQU is recruiting for a systems engineer for a leading client in Yorkshire. The systems engineer will manage and provide support clouds, networking, and systems infrastructure. Additionally, the engineer will assist in the implementation of new projects and manage customer-specific specialisms.

Duties of the Infrastructure Support Engineer:

• Troubleshoot complex issues with network, infrastructure and software systems.
• Configure computer networks, systems software, and applications.
• Execute disaster recovery operations and data backups.
• Manage and maintain network infrastructures.
• Implement security strategies. 

Experience needed for the Infrastructure Support Engineer.

• Previous experience of providing support in a cloud environment (Azure).  
• Must have set up and maintained virtual machines (Hyper-V, VMware)
• Proven working experience in installing, configuring, and troubleshooting servers (Windows and Linux).
• Strong networking knowledge.
• Familiarity with security monitoring systems.
