Excellent opportunity for an Infrastructure Engineer looking to move into a management role offering autonomy, responsibility and the chance to help shape an organisation's IT provision.
This organisation are an expanding School Trust. This is a new role being brought in-house, having previously been outsourced to an MSP, so this is a great opportunity to take over and bring your ideas to the table as you influence their future direction.
In this role you will be the senior technical point of contact within the trust. Reporting into one of the directors, you will provide operational and strategic leadership. You will oversee the operation of IT Infrastructure and IT planning and will be involved in resource planning.
The ideal candidate will either be an IT Manager or an experienced Infrastructure Engineer looking to move into management. You will have experience in networking and with Microsoft, Google and cloud technologies.
This is a fantastic opportunity to move into a varied and technically interesting role, with autonomy and responsibility, whilst retaining a strong work-life balance.
