Red Rock Partnership are happy to be hiring for our esteemed client based in Sherburn in Elmet LS25

Own transport is essential due to location or must live close by.

We are seeking a Warehouse & Supply Chain Administrator on Permanent basis.

  • Pay Rate is £12.50 per hour

Hours of work:

  • Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5pm.

Purpose of the role:

Working within the Warehouse Department providing operational and administrative support to the Warehouse, Foyer and Logistics Departments in respect of stock movements. Coordinating between the warehouse and logistics departments to ensure all the relevant paperwork and systems are managed and updated

Responsibilities:

  • The allocation of requisitions for production and making adjustments as required.
  • To ensure, efficient and accurate stock control and rotation in line with business needs.
  • To ensure any production stock that has not been transferred on the scanner / tablet has been updated on Sage.
  • To maintain Unis works order paperwork.
  • To cover the Warehouse & Supply Chain Assistant Manager in their absence.
  • To coordinate with the warehouse team to ensure all orders are picked in advance.
  • To assist with the completion of the necessary departmental paperwork in terms of transfers of all stock, including delivery paperwork, final products and packaging.
  • To book in raw materials and packaging on Sage and scan paperwork to QA as required.
  • To maintain the booking in diary with collections/deliveries and liaising with Supply Chain Operatives so they are aware when they will be required.
  • To liaise with Logistics to ensure all picking lists are available for all orders that are being despatched out the following day.
  • To liaise with Logistics, to ensure all relevant paperwork is available for each load that is going out.
  • To ensure the correct paperwork is available for the Vet and allocated to the correct vehicle.
  • To liaise with Planning & Logistics if any damages are discovered so the picking lists can be amended.
  • To assist with the despatching of orders on Sage and returning paperwork to Logistics office.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • To assist with the end of month and year end stock takes.
  • To help in the investigation of stock movement anomalies.
  • To ensure all accidents / incidents are reported to your immediate Manager and are investigated thoroughly. To play an active part of the investigation process as required by your Line Manager.
  • To pro-actively promote safe systems of working within the Warehouse and ensure safe working practices of the team, contractors, visitors and lorry drivers.
  • To lead by example, demonstrating best practice and in line with Company values.

General:

  • To adhere to and proactively promote Company policies on Food Safety, Health & Safety, and good Environmental practices.
  • To be aware of the Company quality and hygiene standards and to observe and practice these standards while carrying out the duties required.
  • To carry out all reasonable duties as requested by your Line Manager.
  • To ensure that all decisions and processes are made in line with our Company values.
