About the Role
As the Head of Planning, you'll oversee a team of six skilled planners, steering them on a diverse range of projects while ensuring the highest standards of delivery. In addition to managing day-to-day operations, you'll play a key role in business planning and strategic decision-making, directly contributing to the direction and success of the department and the wider organization.

Key Responsibilities
路Lead, mentor, and manage a team of six planners, promoting professional growth and high performance.
路Actively contribute to business planning, shaping the department's objectives and future growth.
路Make strategic decisions to drive team and project success.
路Work on a variety of planning projects and provide expert guidance to both clients and team members.

About You
路Experienced Town planner with a background in the private sector
路MRTPI Qualified
路Strong understanding of planning legislation and policy.
路Strategic thinker with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
路Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, able to inspire and guide
the team effectively.
