Elevation Recruitment Group are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Engineer with a strong background in heavy engineering and manufacturing to join a dynamic team in North Yorkshire. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that projects meet the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement ITP's ensuring compliance with client specifications, industry standards, and safety regulations. 
  • Collaborate with project teams to identify quality requirements and integrate them into construction and fabrication processes.
  • Create and maintain Control Plans to monitor and manage product quality
  • Manage non-conformance reporting and corrective actions, ensuring timely resolution of quality issues.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate lean principles into quality processes
  • Support the development and delivery of quality training to team members and subcontractors.
  • Prepare and maintain comprehensive documentation and reports for quality assurance and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • HNC in Engineering, Quality Management, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Significant experience in a quality engineering role within heavy manufacturing or a related field.
  • Strong understanding and experience in lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma certification is a plus.
