Description
The Quality Manager will hold a key position on the site's senior leadership team and will:
- Lead and manage the quality assurance, control, and improvement programmes across site
- Develop, implement, and monitor quality standards and procedures
- Monitor regulatory activities and factory compliance with regulatory safety standards
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure quality objectives are met
- Oversee the investigation of quality issues and implement corrective actions
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production efficiency and quality
- Provide training and support to staff regarding quality management
- Create and present quality reports to senior management
- Implement product specification systems and drive continuous improvement
- Lead site audits
Profile
The successful Quality Manager should have:
- Proven experience in a quality management role within the FMCG industry (ideally food or similar)
- Excellent knowledge of quality assurance and control procedures
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Collaborative approach and with ability to influence
- Ability to make decisions under pressure
- Solid problem-solving abilities and a keen eye for detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience in RCA and implementing corrective actions
