Operations Manager, North Yorkshire, £250 - £300 (Monday – Friday)
Client:
We are recruiting for a temporary Estates Operations Manager to join a large Public Sector organisation in North Yorkshire for a 3 month assignment (with a strong possibility of extension). The assignment can start immediately.
Role:
The role forms part of a busy Maintenance Team, who provide a mechanical and electrical services to the organisation’s sites, duties will include;
- Responsibility for development and implementation of the maintenance strategy for all estates assets ensuring full compliance and identification of risks/issues as they arise
- Ensure that all plant and equipment is serviced and maintained throughout the organisations property
- Responsible for the supervision and management of in-house multi-skilled maintenance team, as well as coordination of specialist contractors
Person:
The successful candidate will have;
- To have served a recognised relevant apprenticeship and educated to HND/Degree level in a Building Services Engineering or Electrical engineering or equivalent
- A specialised training in Ventilation, Gas Safety, Refrigeration systems, Air Conditioning, Water systems, Legionella/Pseudomonas Control or LV/HV Electrical systems would be ideal
- Good working knowledge of Health and Safety systems and management
