Excellent benefits including a 37 hour working week 8.30am to 4.30pm Mon-Thurs and 8.30am to 4pm Friday (flexi-time is available) and overtime is available at time and a half.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Production Planner to join ourteam. The Production Planner will be responsible for planning, scheduling, and coordinating production activities to ensure the timely, efficient, and cost-effective manufacturing of products. The ideal candidate will have a manufacturing background, production scheduling, orinventory control, with a focus on maximizing operational efficiency and meeting customer demand.

Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain detailed production schedules to ensure that manufacturing timelines are met and resources are optimally utilized.
Monitor inventory levels of raw materials and finished goods, coordinating with procurement to ensure timely replenishment and reduce stockouts.
Collaborate with sales, marketing, and procurement teams to gather and analyze demand forecasts, adjusting production plans accordingly.
Ensure that the necessary materials, equipment, and labour are available to meet production requirements.
Work closely with production, quality control, and logistics teams to address any potential delays or issues that may impact production timelines.
Continuously evaluate and improve production processes to increase efficiency, reduce waste, and improve overall productivity.
Maintain accurate production records, including schedules, inventory reports, and production performance data, and provide regular updates to management.
Ensure that all production processes comply with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.

Experience the Production Planner will need:-

Production processes (within an engineering business preferred).
Previous experience of manufacturing resource planning / materials requirements.
