Senior Operations Manager
YorkSalary: £65,000 - £75,000 plus benefits

Ideally with a background in engineering environments and a strong people manager, this person will play an important part in helping this business develop further and meet their growth plans.
What will the role involve?
- Oversee the day-to-day management of the Operations function.
- Develop, implement, and maintain adherence to the Operations budget.
- Manage Operations budgets, identifying opportunities to reduce costs while maintaining high customer satisfaction levels.
- Lead the service delivery team by managing conflicts, resolving technical issues, and ensuring efficient execution of team processes and tasks.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and enhance processes and procedures.
- Establish and monitor KPIs to drive efficiency improvements.
- Attract, develop, and retain a high-performing team to meet the evolving needs of the business through strategic hiring, training, development, coaching, mentoring, and performance management.
Ideal Skills and Experience
- Experience working in Engineering/Manufacturing environments is ideal,
- Strong people management skills,
- Experience of implementing and developing KPI's,
- Experience managing 'field-based' employees ideal,
