Site Manager

Our client frequently works on projects ranging from £50,000 to £1.5million, both Framework and tendered projects, covering Offices, the NHS, Public Buildings, Retail units, Schools, Shopping Centre's and more.  

They are looking for candidates with a minimum of 3 years' experience, who show a record of consistently completing projects on time and on budget and can successfully manage gangs of 3+ on site.  

The Ideal candidate must be approachable, and able to forge and maintain long-lasting relationships with sub-contractors. They also must be prepared to travel as the client has projects all over the North-East region, covering a wide range of project value.  

Requirements:  

• SMSTS 

• CSCS Black Card 

• Health & Safety Training 

• Full UK driving License  

• Fit out and Refurbishment experience  

Responsibilities:

• Project Management: Oversee on-site activities, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to quality standards. Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and work programs. Coordinate with project managers, architects, engineers, and stakeholders.
• Health and Safety: Enforce health and safety regulations, conduct site inspections, and ensure compliance with safety procedures.
• Quality Control: Monitor work for compliance with specifications and quality standards, resolve issues promptly, and maintain detailed site records.
• Communication and Coordination: Serve as the primary contact for clients, provide updates, address concerns, facilitate stakeholder communication, and lead site meetings.
• Resource Management: Plan and manage labor, materials, and equipment, ensuring efficient use and minimizing waste. Coordinate deliveries and storage on-site.

What We Offer:  

• Salary of £50,000- £55,000 per year  

• Start date: As Soon as Possible  

Location: York, Northeast
