Job Title: Semi Skilled Joiner

Location: York

Ongoing contract with the view on becoming perm.

The opportunity:

We are seeking a proactive and versatile joiner to join our Modular Building client in the York area.

The main duties will be:

Measuring and cutting timber
Using various joinery tools
Reading joinery construction drawings
Erecting timber walls
Marking up timber walls
Plaster Boarding
Keeping workplace hazard free
1st joinery duties
Semi Skilled Joinery practices
Sheeting
Basic Floor Laying and Roofing
General labouring duties

Qualifications/Experience:

Minimum 1 year semi-skilled joinery experience
Ideally NVQ level 1 or and 2 in Joinery and Carpentry
Strong Attention to Detail
The ability to work under pressure.
Can work as part of a team.
Can work if needed alone and unsupervised.
Ideally Modular Construction Experience but not essential
Punctual, Reliable and a Hard Worker
