This is a permanent position offering a competitive salary of £41,000 per year, along with a company van and a fuel card for commuting to and from work. As a Domestic Gas Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality gas installation, servicing, and maintenance within residential properties.Key Responsibilities:

  • Performing gas installations, servicing, and maintenance work in residential properties.
  • Conduct gas safety inspections and issue homeowner gas safety certificates.
  • Diagnose faults and carry out repairs on heating systems, appliances, and gas boilers.
  • Ensure all work is carried out to the highest safety and compliance standards.
  • Maintain accurate records of all works carried out and ensure paperwork is completed as required.
  • Provide excellent customer service, explaining technical issues in a clear and concise manner.
  • Respond to emergency repair requests when necessary.

Qualifications & Skills Required:

  • Gas Safe Registration (essential).
  • Previous experience working as a domestic gas engineer, ideally within a social housing environment.
  • Valid domestic gas qualifications (e.g., ACS, CCN1, CENWAT, CPA1, etc.).
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and repair a variety of gas-related issues.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • A commitment to ongoing professional development and training.
