Excellent benefits including a 37 hour working week - 8.30am to 4.30pm Mon-Thurs and 8.30am to 4pm Friday (flexi-time is available) and overtime is available at time and a half.

25 days holidays and 8 bank holidays.

5% pension with private healthcare & 2 x base salary life insurance.

Key Responsibilities for the Senior Mechanical Engineer are:-

• Manage design projects from initial concept/enquiry through detailed design to manufacturing handover.

• Provide design input on projects, using the technical competencies listed below.

• Generation of ideas for developments and new products.

• Be responsible for small projects or sub-sections of larger projects.

• Produce engineering designs, specifications and documentation to ISO 9001.

• Assist in the preparation of operating and maintenance manuals.

• Offsite engineering support for new products.

• Assist sales and marketing in the preparation of quotes and proposals.

• Provide customer support & assist in the training of customer operating personnel.

• Provide technical support to the production, logistics and integration departments.

• Instruct, train and mentor subordinate engineering staff.

To be successful as a Senior Mechanical Engineer you will need:-

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related/equivalent subject and a minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role.
