My client is a leading energy company operating throughout the UK and overseas. Due to continued expansion, they have a vacancy in the North East for a CHP Field Engineer to join their team. The successful CHP Field Engineer will ideally be based in York/Leeds or close surrounding areas and will provide support to the Operations team providing guidance and support during breakdowns.
CHP Field Engineer Requirements:
- Have proven experience of working with engines and a recognised Mechanical Engineering qualification to Level 3.
- Extensive knowledge of gas engines/generators particularly CAT, Perkins, MAN or MWM.
- Strong knowledge and experience of mechanical and electrical maintenance.
- Proven fault finding and diagnostic skills.
- Able to work on own initiative.
- Experience of working with AC/DC control panels.
- Ability to take part in a callout rota.
- Flexible approach to travel and staying away from home overnight occasionally.
- IT Literate.
- Hold full UK driving licence.
CHP Field Engineer Benefits:
- Annual salary of £41,600 OTE £48K.
- Monday to Friday – 40 hours.
