Staff Nurse

Salary:  £18.79 – £23.05 Per hour + Market-Leading Benefits!

Hours: 38.5 Hours per week - Nights

HCR is looking for a Staff Nurse to work in a High-Tech innovative Hospital to improve the lives of individuals with acquired brain injuries through substance misuse, illnesses, and trauma, regaining lost skills, using state-of-the-art technology and high-performing, competent Nurses.

The Staff Nurse should be compassionate, empathetic, and supportive, ensuring the individuals feel valued and cared for. The Staff Nurse plays a key role in promoting positive behaviors within the Hospital while maintaining the highest standards of care.

Staff Nurse Duties:

  • Staff Nurses working here will liaise with the MDT team and work collaboratively to ensure effective communication
  • To safely administer medication and ensure all documentation is recorded and updated
  • To lead and support staff always ensuring patient safety

Staff Nurse Requirements:

  • Must have an active NMC Pin (RMN/RNLD/RGN) trained
  • The Staff Nurse desirably will have previous experience working in a Neurobehavioral setting. However, not essential!
  • Ideally to have a good knowledge of the Mental Capacity Act and Mental Health Act
  • Good IT skills and experience using electronic care planning systems
