Office Manager

We are thrilled to continue our collaboration with a successful, fast-growing, family-owned business based in York. This company thrives on the dedication and teamwork of its motivated staff and this position is for a full-time and permanent Office Manager, created due to an internal promotion and consistent growth.

This role (Office Manager) is exceptionally diverse and hands-on, offering you the chance to play a key role in the development and management of various business processes.

Office Manager - Key Responsibilities:

You'll be at the heart of their operations, driving excellence by maintaining and evolving an integrated management system. You'll champion quality through rigorous procedures, error reporting, and assurance checks, whilst leading key initiatives in managing quality objectives, audits, and review meetings.

You'll empower the team by organising impactful management and team meetings, streamlining operations in purchasing, sales administration, and database updates, and, handling preparations for prequalification documents and tenders. Promoting safety through comprehensive Health and Safety administration will be a vital part of your role, including training, PPE management, and incident reporting.

Supporting environmental sustainability, you'll implement and develop environmental procedures and objectives. You'll also collaborate effectively for precise HR guidance, develop HR policies, engage in recruitment and staff development, maintain accurate records, and manage GDPR documentation.

Additionally, you'll optimise facilities management by overseeing daily office activities, managing risks, ensuring compliance with statutory obligations, and creating a vibrant office environment.

Salary - £35-37.5K
