Join a dynamic Sales Team in York on a Part Time basis! This position typically reports to the Field Sales Manager, Head of Sales, or Sales Director.The RoleThe primary goal of this role is to achieve sales targets through effective negotiation and selling of plots, ensuring compliance with the standards set by the New Homes Quality Code.Hours of work are 11 AM - 6 PM on Tuesday and Wednesday, plus the same hours one weekend every four weeks (13 weekends per year).Key Responsibilities:Oversee sales activities for assigned developments, including lead management, customer appointments, reservations, sales transactions, legal completions, and the sale of finishing touches to meet sales targets.Manage communication and administrative tasks related to sales transactions, coordinating with solicitors, estate agents, and mortgage advisers to ensure exchanges occur within 42 days and that all documentation is compliant with audit requirements.Update and maintain the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system to track the customer journey and provide accurate management information.Engage with customers to ensure adherence to the pre-move and after-sales Persimmon Pledge, enhancing their overall experience.Collaborate effectively with other departments, such as Construction, Commercial, and Legal, to meet completion targets and provide timely updates on plot progress.Maintain the customer hub and show homes in accordance with brand and company standards.Follow the Group Health, Safety, and Environment Policy, ensuring compliance from prospective buyers during site visits and home demonstrations to minimise incidents.Experience RequiredStrong communication skills, both written and verbal.Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.Previous experience in new homes sales, estate agency, or sales within a service environment is a plus.Understanding of the market and competitors.Ability to build relationships across various functions, both internally and externally.A minimum of 5 GCSEs at grades A-C is preferred.A full UK driving licence is required.RemunerationCompetitive salary (dependent on experience).This is a permanent position and Corepeople Recruitment Limited will be acting as an employment agency for permanent recruitment on behalf of our client.By applying for this job you accept the T&Cs, Privacy Policy and Disclaimers which can be found on our website.
