This role requires a skilled professional capable of providing domestic plumbing services, as well as additional expertise in joinery. You will be responsible for carrying out plumbing repairs, maintenance, and installations, while also performing joinery tasks as part of your multi-skilled duties.Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide plumbing maintenance and repairs in domestic social housing properties.
  • Perform joinery work, such as door and window repairs, basic carpentry, and general woodwork, as part of the multi-skilled role.
  • Respond to emergency calls and ensure timely and effective resolutions.
  • Maintain high levels of customer service and professionalism when interacting with tenants.
  • Work independently to diagnose issues, recommend solutions, and carry out necessary repairs.

What We Offer:

  • Competitive salary of £33,000 per annum.
  • Van and fuel card provided for use during working hours.
  • On-call duty: 1 in 4 weeks, paid £271 for the week, with overtime rates:
    • Standard rate up to 20 hours.
    • Time and a half over 20 hours.
  • Flexible working hours (8:00 AM to 8:00 PM) to suit your schedule.
  • Ongoing training and development opportunities.

Essential Requirements:

  • Qualified Plumber (NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Plumbing or equivalent).
  • Strong experience in joinery alongside plumbing skills.
  • Previous experience in a domestic social housing setting is highly desirable.
  • Full driving license and ability to travel across the North Yorkshire patch.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
