- Title: Quality Engineer (QE/QI Contract)
- Contract Duration: 6-12 months
- Work Environment: On-site, Monday to Friday, with an 8-hour daily commitment totaling a 40-hour work week. Please note that there is no option for hybrid or remote work for this position.
- Anticipated Start Date: Ideally in March, with flexibility extending to early April at the latest.
Project Details:
The successful candidate will be integral to a nuclear-related project, specifically tasked with the inspection of a critical 180-ton capacity equipment piece constructed from mild steel.
- Specific Responsibilities: Conduct inspections to stringent nuclear industry standards and ensure meticulous compilation of Lifetime Quality Records (LTQR).
- Minimum Qualifications:
- CSWIP 3.1 OR PCN Level 2 in Welding/Visual Inspection credentials are required.
- Magnetic Particle Inspection/Dye Penetrant Inspection qualifications are desirable
- Key Skills:
- Proficient in inspecting and compiling comprehensive Lifetime Quality Records (LTQR).
- Possess the capability, ideally, to perform various Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) methodologies.
Candidate Profile:
The ideal candidate will be a seasoned Quality Engineer with a background in Quality Inspection, equipped with specific experience related to nuclear project demands. A strong understanding of industry-specific standards and a detail-oriented approach to quality assurance documentation and processes are essential.
