Elevation Recruitment are extremely pleased to be working with an innovative beverage manufacturer to recruit a Packaging Supervisor to join their facility in North Yorkshire. This exciting opportunity involves leading a bottling operation, managing laboratory and process equipment, and embedding lean manufacturing techniques within a high-performing packaging team.
Monday – Friday days only – flex between 6am – 6pm
Key Responsibilities of the Packaging Supervisor include:
- Drive compliance with health and safety regulations while acting as a role model for best practices
- Lead the bottling team, fostering continuous improvement and operational excellence
- Train and develop team members, ensuring training is up to date and aligned with growth needs
- Oversee food safety compliance and contribute to maintaining relevant GFSI accreditation
- Manage raw material stock, support production planning, and ensure adherence to quality standards
- Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, conduct microbiological testing, and support line operations as needed
- Manage day-to-day performance of the bottling team, including conducting regular appraisals
We are looking for Packaging Supervisors with the below skills & experience:
- Previous experience in packaging operations within an FMCG environment, ideally food or drink production
- Proven people management experience with a natural ability to build strong relationships
- Solid understanding of packaging line metrics and hands-on operational experience
- Strong multitasking and organisational skills, with attention to detail
- Competence in health and safety regulations within a production environment, IOSH qualification preferred
- Leadership skills with a focus on problem-solving and process improvement using lean tools
