Polish Speaking Warehouse Team Leader / Supervisor

An exciting opportunity within the health and fitness industry has arisen for a Polish Speaking Team Leader / supervisor at our busy UK warehouse in Dunnington near York.

Power Body are one of the UK's top retailer and Europes leading distributor of sports supplements and vitamins. To support our wholesale operation we are looking for a (Polish and English speaking) Warehouse Team Leader / supervisor to join our high achieving team.

The successful applicant will support the Warehouse Manager in the day to day running of the busy warehouse and warehouse development.

Due to a company branch being located in Poland, ability to speak communicative Polish is fundamental.

The Candidate:

We are looking for someone with1 year minimum previous experience in a similar role, with a good understanding of warehouse operations, experienced in managing employees and keeping the team motivated.

Key Responsibilities:

Effective management of the day-to-day activities within the warehouse.
Effective management of the team.
Ensuring excellent Health & Safety standards in the warehouse.
Motivating, managing staff and monitoring staff performance.
Opening and locking up the warehouse when required.
Preparing reports for the warehouse manager.
Ensuring that individual training needs are identified.
Performing stock checks, stock takes and audits to verify results and ensure that all resources are used effectively and efficiently.

Experience and Competencies:

Previous experience in a similar role.
Possessing excellent communication and leadership skills.
Consistent and self disciplined.
Understanding of Warehouse & Distribution practices.
Having good understanding of current Health & Safety legislation in the workplace.
Hard Working.
Flexible and creative with "can do" attitude.
Speaking communicative Polish and English.
