Client Details

Independent Life Sciences CRO who have over 15 years of analytical testing experience and a world leading team of scientific and regulatory consultants. HQ based in North Yorkshire. This is a hybrid role and requires the successful person on site 3 days a week.

Description

Clinical Project and Resource Manager

  • Facilitating projects from initiation to completion, including supporting through quoting and engagement with potential clients, within scope, on time and within budget.
  • Responsible for managing projects independently or with support from more senior team members. Projects will consist of a number of deliverables and workstreams and will require client and supplier interaction.
  • Allocation and control of scheduling for the Client Solutions team, involving internal, external and business development work.
  • Establishing and maintaining strong relationships with Technical Project Leads (TPLs), the project teams and internal / external stakeholders.
  • Clear and accurate communication of project progress, risks and issues to the TPLs and stakeholders.
  • Support or lead internal projects involving internal stakeholders.
  • Management of a project team with the potential to involve some external suppliers / clients.
  • Creating and maintaining an overall project management plan (PMP) including timelines, responsibilities (RACI) matrix and risk management plan.

Profile

Clinical Project and Resource Manager

The successful candidate must have client facing project management experience ideally in a scientific/testing field.

  • Excellent people skills; attributes of respect, collaboration, empathy and clarity
  • Experience in project design and planning
  • Experience of having budgetary control and effective management of deviations
  • Ability to work under pressure and make decisions to achieve project objectives
  • Able to work within and lead a team

Preferred

  • PRINCE2 or Agile methodology qualification or experience.
  • Experience working within a project environment/managing a project
  • Project management tools and software

Job Offer

£40,000 - £50,000 Basic Salary depending on experience
