We are seeking an Assistant Manager to support the development and management of our Visitor Centre and restaurant. This role is essential for maintaining high standards of food and service while ensuring a friendly and welcoming atmosphere for all guests.
The Day-to-Day:- Assist in managing day-to-day operations, supporting revenue growth, and collaborating on exciting events and campaigns.
- Help ensure the team provides a professional, friendly, and welcoming service to all guests.
- Assist in training staff to deliver the standard of service appropriate and ensure excellent customer service.
- Support the recruitment, development, and training of staff, including supervisory staff.
- Assist in scheduling service staff, ensuring a Supervisor is designated for every shift.
- Help control staff costs to deliver required profitability.
- Support adherence to Health and Safety procedures to ensure the safety of employees and guests at all times.
- Strong team leadership and motivation skills.
- Ability to communicate confidently at all levels.
- Good timekeeping skills.
- Experience in supporting Bar/Cellar Management.
- Excellent accuracy and eye for detail.
- Proven experience in a managerial/leadership role within hospitality.
