Business Development Manager

Are you a driven, proactive, and self-motivated individual looking for an exciting opportunity. Our client, a leading organisation, who support the RenewablesRenewables industry in the Crew Transfer Vessel industry, are seeking a Business Development Manager to join their team. You will be required to develop existing customers and introduce and secure new clients, as the role is a mix of Existing Account Management and New Business Development.

If you are passionate about sales, with contacts in RenewablesRenewables industry or shipping/CTVCTV industry experience and have excellent communication skills, and enjoy building strong relationships with customers, then this is the perfect role for you!

Your tasks will include:

Meeting with existing and potential customers on a regular basis.
Developing and maintaining the client base within the region.
Participating in exhibitions and seminars to promote our client's products and services.
Acting as the contact person for ongoing contracts, including administrating relevant documentation.
Participating in regular week/monthly meetings with clients to ensure customer satisfaction.
Representing our client during external inspections with customers.
Promoting our client's culture, values, and vision.
Working with the back-office to monitor and improve project and vessel performance.
Submitting project-specific tenders to secure new business opportunities.
Developing and maintaining routines with present and potential customers, including updating the company's CRMCRM system.
Providing sales and chartering support during non-office hours as required.
Attending operational meetings with clients at ongoing projects.

Requirements:

Sales experience or experience in the shipping industry, preferably in offshore wind and CTVCTV market.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships.
Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
Adaptability to different situations and excellent people skills.
Proven ability to develop and execute sales strategies.
Willingness to travel frequently to meet with customers and attend industry events.
Knowledge of BIMCOBIMCO contracts is preferred, but not required.
Valid driver's licence.
