Our client, a dynamic and rapidly growing company located on the outskirts of York, is on the lookout for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to join their expanding team.

As an Accounts Assistant, you'll be a key player in ensuring the smooth financial operations of the business. This is your chance to work in a fast-paced environment where your contributions truly matter. Whether you're processing payments, managing payroll, or handling credit control, your work will make a solid impact every day!

Duties of Accounts Assistant:

  • Maintain the purchase ledger and oversee payment runs.
  • Manage the sales ledger across multiple limited companies.
  • Post month-end journal entries with precision.
  • Produce and maintain KPI reports that drive business success.
  • Handle BACS payments and ensure accurate reconciliation.
  • Manage the payroll process for 300+ employees
  • Tackle cash allocations, bank reconciliations, and resolve invoice/purchase order queries.
  • Provide essential support with daily and weekly debt reports for the Financial Director.



What We're Looking For:

  • You're proficient with Xero, QuickBooks, Microsoft Dynamics & SAGE.
  • Your attention to detail is second to none-nothing gets past you!
  • You have excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft packages.
