Animal Technician

We are seeking a dedicated Animal Technician to join our client's motivated team. This role is ideal for individuals with experience in animal research andhusbandry,who are eager to work in a dynamic, high-standard environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure top-tier animal welfare in line withindustry regulations
  • Perform routine husbandry tasks, including feeding, watering, cleaning, and animal observations
  • Monitor and maintain biosecurity and hygiene standards
  • Conduct health checks and report on animal well-being
  • Assist in breeding programs and manage stock records
  • Select, pack, and ship animals in accordance with client and regulatory requirements

Requirements:

  • Experience in animal husbandry or research facilities
  • Level 2 Diploma in Animal Management (or equivalent)
  • Home Office personal license (or willingness to obtain)
  • Ability to work as part of a team in a structured environment
  • Strong attention to detail and a humane approach to animal care
  • IT skills for record-keeping and reporting
