As such, we are currently recruiting for a number of Maths Teachers for placements starting in November 2024 and January 2025. Both part-time and full-time positions are available, with opportunities to apply for a permanent position in the future.  

As the successful Teacher of Maths, you will:

  • Be a qualified teacher with a PGCE, GTP, BEd, Cert Ed or BA with QTS, and have recent experience of working as a Teacher of Maths in the UK.
  • Be able to teach KS3 and GCSE Maths. A-Level Maths and Economics teaching experience is desirable, but not essential.
  • Be proven to raise and maintain attainment levels, keeping standards high.
  • Be an enthusiastic, highly motivated individual who leads by example.
  • Demonstrate good communication and interpersonal skills with all individuals, including pupils, colleagues and parents and carers.
  • Provide intervention and tutoring sessions where appropriate, mainly for borderline GCSE students.
