Area Security Officer

Join us as an Area Security Officer covering sites in York and surrounding areas, where you will be required to carry out duties in a busy environment between Monday and Saturday. You will work regular sociable day shifts that you can plan your life around where no two days will be the same and you will have the opportunity to carve out a career with the biggest name in security.

This is a full-time permanent role working predominantly Monday to Saturday, 5 out of 7 days, between 8.45am - 5:15pm or 6am - 6pm, but some flexibility is required.

You will need to have a full UK driving licence and your own transport.

Your Time at Work
Position: Area Security Officer
Location: York and surrounding areas
Pay Rate: £11.76 per hour
Hours: 42.5 hours a week
Shifts: Days only - 8:45am 5:15pm

Your duties include:

- Greeting staff and visitors
- Interacting with the public
- Ensuring they follow security protocols keeping our customers and their premises secure
- Patrolling the premises and dealing with any security incidents
- Ensuring visitors and staff are in a safe environment by de-escalating situations in a firm but respectful manner

Our Perfect Worker
It would be ideal if you have an SIA license or experience in security, but if not, then full training will be provided.
What's crucial is your great communication and customer service skills. All our admin is digital and paperless, so you'll need to be tech savvy enough to use our digital devices.
As this is a mobile position, you will also need to have a full UK driving licence and your own vehicle.
