The Children Social Worker Team is seeking an experienced Social Worker for CP & Court Work in North Yorkshire Council (NYC).
The role offers a rate of £37.38 and requires extensive experience across the child welfare system, particularly in child protection and court work.
Candidates must possess excellent communication skills and a strong knowledge of child care legislation, along with the ability to collaborate effectively with multi-agency partners and team colleagues.
A full driver's license and vehicle are essential for this office-based assignment, which operates Monday to Thursday from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm and Friday from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm.
This position emphasizes a strength-based approach to working with children and their families to ensure safety and well-being.

Experienced Social Worker - experience across the child welfare system required. Extensive child protection and court experience essential.

This includes working in a strength-based way with children their families to ensure they are safe and able to thrive.

NYC has a defined practice model which is based on systemic principles, signs of safety and family seeing methodology. Excellent communication skills, knowledge of child care legislation and the ability to work effectively with the child’s network, multi-agency partners and team colleagues essential.

Office based assignment.

Full Drivers license and vehicle essential.
