Social Worker, North YorkshirePay rate £49.84 per hourVitalis Social Care are recruiting for an experienced and qualified Social Worker to join an Emergency Duty Team.Job Role and Responsibilities: - The Emergency Duty Team (EDT) is a vital service which provides out of hours cover for North Yorkshire Council and the City of York and is based in County Hall, Northallerton, although the service operates on a countywide basis. The principal responsibility of EDT is to respond to out of hours requests where intervention from the Local Authority is required to safeguard a vulnerable child or adult until the next working day. As a qualified and registered Social Worker, you will have a broad and detailed knowledge of statutory functions of Social Care and Health Services. You will be dealing with complex cases that require thorough and robust risk decision making.
