Role Overview:

- SEN Expertise Required: Previous experience with SEN children or in similar educational settings is essential to provide the highest level of support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver 1:1 and group support to students with a variety of SEN needs, including ASD, ADHD, and learning difficulties.
- Assist teachers in planning and implementing tailored lessons that meet individual student needs.
- Foster a positive, supportive classroom environment that encourages student confidence, social interaction, and active engagement.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback to teachers and school SENCo.
- Support classroom activities, ensuring a safe and inclusive learning space.
- Communicate effectively with students, teachers, and parents, offering constructive feedback as needed.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Teaching Assistant, ideally with SEN expertise.
- A genuine passion for supporting SEN students and helping them achieve their potential.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a compassionate, adaptable approach to meeting student needs.
- Teaching Assistant qualification is preferred but not essential, if already obtained classroom experience.
- Flexible working schedule.
- An enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
