- Ideally hold or be willing to achieve the BICS certificate (employer will support you through the 1 day course)
- Must hold solid occupational competency within Industrial Cleaning.
- Hold own Functional Skills Level 2 or equivalent.
- Willingness to work towards PTLLS/AET - fully funded and supported by employer
- Ideally have experience of delivering training/workshops to groups of learners
- Must be IT Literate.
- Deliver Cleaning training in-line with the BiCs framework, with additional focus on health and safety, compliance and COSHH regulations.
- Induct learners in to the Cleaning Academy, providing them with training across policies, equipment usage and emergency procedures.
- Ensure sessions are motivating, engaging and develop learners' skills knowledge and behaviours
- Embedding of Maths and English into sessions, emphasising the importance of reading and literacy.
- Monitor student attendance and progress through regular student assessment and reviews.
- Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learner’s needs.
