About the Role:

A leading SaaS company is seeking an experienced Front End Developer to join their team. This is an opportunity to be part of an expanding organisation that creates market-leading business management software. The organisation is going through a period of growth and within this role you will play a key role in migrating their current Windows Forms-based application to a modern web platform. While maintaining the core functionality is crucial, there is a significant opportunity to create a new, user-friendly interface as part of a large project. You will work closely with product owners and the UI/UX team to design and deliver an engaging and functional front-end experience.

In this role, you will be responsible for developing responsive web applications using modern JavaScript frameworks. The team primarily use ReactJS with TypeScript, so experience with this framework is essential. You will also be expected to collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement intuitive user interfaces and ensure seamless integration with our backend services.

While not essential, it would be beneficial if you have experience with Node.js server-side development, or working with GraphQL APIs. Familiarity with CI/CD tools and Docker/Kubernetes is also a plus. Our client is seeking candidates who thrive in a fast-paced Agile environment and are comfortable working in sprints.

Benefits:

In return, they offer a flexible hybrid working model, with the option to work from their modern office in York one day a week. You will also have access to learning and development opportunities, ensuring you can continue to grow your skills. They foster a collaborative and positive working environment, encouraging input and innovation from all team members. Additionally, they offer a competitive benefits package that includes 25 days of holiday (increasing up to 30 days with length of service), Vitality Health, Life Assurance, a pension scheme, and more.
