Working a day shift within the heart of the Client's Site, the role will involve fabrication and repair of rail bogies / freight wagons and locomotives.Person Profile/Experience:We are looking for technically capable Welder Fabricators with experience of working on Rail Wagons, rolling stock, HGV or heavy mobile plant, ex-Military with a suitable technical/engineering background encouraged to apply. Codings not required - but looked upon favourably.You will be hands on, competent and confident on the tools and be capable of working to engineering drawings and schematics.Your experience will be predominantly within a fabrication background (MIG / MMA)You will be physically fit and healthy, have a good sense of humour and be prepared to work outdoors where required.Due to the nature of the work/role, an appreciation of H&S at work is essential, plus in line with Rail Industry Protocols there is a zero policy re being under the influence of Drugs & Alcohol whilst at work.
