TRC Talent Solutions has a direct hire opportunity for a Senior Accountant in Addison, TX!
As the Staff Accountant, you will be responsible for preparing financial statements, maintaining financial records, performing account reconciliations, and managing month-end close processes.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and analyze financial statements according to GAAP
- Assist with budget preparation and financial forecasting
- Perform month-end and year-end close processes, including reconciliations and journal entries
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts
- Prepare and post accruals and adjusting journal entries as necessary
- Assist in the preparation of audit schedules and auditor inquiries
- Analyze financial data and provide variance explanations
- Support other accounting projects and initiatives as needed
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, MBA/MSA preferred
- 3+ years of experience in full cycle accounting
- Strong understanding of GAAP/Accrual Based Accounting required
- Account reconciliation experience required
- Understanding of ASC 606/ ASC 842
- Acumatica software experience preferred
- PPA/OBS/NWC exposure is a plus
- Treasury Platform experience preferred
