Job Summary: This position is responsible for start-up, shut-down, and routine maintenance and repair of the water attractions and pools in our water park. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pool maintenance and a commitment to maintaining the safety and integrity of our facility.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Test pool water and adjust water chemistry to meet the standards for pH and sanitation
  • Maintain filtration, circulation, and chemical systems Six Flags New England Hurricane Harbor
  • Clean and lubricate shafts, bearings, gears, and other parts of equipment
  • Dismantle defective equipment and install new or repaired parts
  • Comply with all policies, codes, and guidelines set forth by Six Flags New England and the Massachusetts Department of Public Health
  • Inspect facility equipment and physical structures daily, per inspection criteria
  • Ensure proper documentation on all maintenance calls, repairs, and rehab duties
  • Perform other duties as assigned to meet the needs of the park

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience as a CPO/AFO, or ability to obtain license within 6 months of employment
  • Knowledge of pool maintenance, filtration, sanitation, and repair
  • Ability to lift heavy materials and work at heights if necessary.
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
