Description

JOB SUMMARY
  • This position plays a key role in support of efforts by senior and middle management to contribute to the financial health of PPHS. Provides analytic support and project coordination including monthly reporting of physician practice performance; identification of opportunity for efficiencies, comprehensive financial modeling, creative problem solving and meeting objectives in a timely manner. In addition, the Senior Financial Analyst will provide a wide variety of ad-hoc reports in support of the analysis of the financial feasibility of programs and services, including pro form as in support of business planning. Supports departmental strategic objectives, in the areas of enhancing system capabilities and accuracy of data thorough the understanding of operational issues and their financial impact. The Senior Financial Analyst must have excellent communication skills, be able to present and discuss findings with senior level management, and work in a highly collaborative manner.


Qualifications

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
  • 4 year / Bachelor's Degree in in Accounting or other Business Related Field (Required)
  • Master's Degree in Accounting or other Business Related Field (Preferred)
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
  • 4 - 5 years experience in an accounting office or department, preferably to include healthcare industry exposure (Required)
CERTIFICATIONS AND LICENSURES
  • Preferred Certifications/Licensures: Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
