Lead Evaluation Expert
Overview:
The Evaluation Expert is the leader of evaluations commissioned as determined in the AWP unless sub-contracted. They will be responsible for leading the technical oversight of the design and implementation of all evaluations. This position is resident in Peru.
This position is contingent upon contract award.
Primary Responsibilities:
- They will work with the COR and other USAID technical staff and any evaluation teams sub-contracted to develop the methodologies necessary to meet the required deliverables.
- High standards of analytical, statistical, leadership, and emotional intelligence/skills are needed for this position.
Education and/or Experience:
- Master's Degree in Social Sciences or related field
- 5 years of progressive experience in designing, implementing, managing, and analyzing the results of both performance and impact evaluations of development projects and activities
- 4 years of progressively responsible experience in project management of development programs
- 1 year of experience in Latin American social and cultural development context
- Fluency in spoken and written English is required and proficient in Spanish speaking and writing
