Our client, a leading provider of engineering services, is seeking a Sr. SCADA Engineer to join their team. As a Sr. SCADA Engineer, you will be part of the Engineering department supporting advanced control system projects for the OSI/AspenTech Monarch platform. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical expertise, excellent problem-solving skills, and effective communication, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Sr. SCADA Engineer
Location: Alpharetta, GA Â
Pay Range: $145,000-$155,000/year

What’s the Job?
- Develop and update project and product documentation, including system configurations, networking diagrams, and system architectures.
- Design, configure, integrate, test, and commission advanced control systems with the OSI/AspenTech Monarch SCADA system.
- Participate in developing logic diagrams, cause & effect matrices, and functional narratives.
- Review and contribute to control panel design packages, field wiring diagrams, and E&I deliverables.
- Execute factory acceptance testing, field start-up, and commissioning, including troubleshooting activities.
- Conduct client training sessions and provide after-hours support as needed.
- Travel up to 25% for project-related needs, including site visits and commissioning activities.
What’s Needed?
- B.S. in a technical field with 3+ years of experience with OSI/AspenTech Monarch systems.
- Experience with PLCs, DCS, HMI, SCADA platforms, and familiarity with Modbus, Ethernet/IP, and OPC protocols.
- Knowledge of electrical protection relays, historian systems, and related technologies.
- Strong understanding of P&ID’s, control panel wiring, and field wiring diagrams.
- Proficiency with DeviceNet and Profibus communication protocols.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and multitasking abilities.
