Northrop Grumman is seeking a Principal / Sr. Principal Systems Administrator Lead in support of an emerging opportunity related to Electromagnetic Spectrum Operations (EMSO) and Electromagnetic Battle Management (EMBM) located in Annapolis, Maryland, and Fort Meade, MD. The ideal candidate will be a cross-functional team player, willing to take on challenges, who collaborates with internal and external teams, and is driven to provide solutions to internal and external customers. This position is contingent upon program award. Responsibilities Include: Maintain and oversee efficient operations of the entire IT infrastructure including servers, desktop and networking equipment on test and production environments. Leverage extensive experience in system administration to gain and propagate a holistic view of the infrastructure, oversee required activities. Ensure necessary IT projects are completed independently or assigned to others as necessary. Represent the team, presenting team suggestions and recommendations on processes and procedures in accordance with organization cost, quality, and productivity goals. Develop computer systems specifications that address business requirements and that fit with the company's system architecture standards. Develop and document technical procedures as required. Define and create appropriate monitoring templates and configurations and administer capacity management tools. Coordinate actions with external partners, peer system administrators, network administrators, security teams, software teams and hardware. Management of the helpdesk and ticket workflow to ensure the Verification and Validation process is timely and efficient.
